Thermally broken aluminum framing.
Can be used as a complete building envelope incorporating, spandrel glazing or metal panels in front of interior walls, providing a complete exterior skin for the building. Windows can bypass the floor slab to minimize interface details with other construction material.

FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS

GENERAL:
AWD W760 window wall system with pressure equalized glazing cavity drainage. These windows conform to the CAN/CSA-A440-00 specifications.

ALUMINUM:
Window Members shall be extruded of Aluminum Alloy in accordance with CAN/CSA-A440-00.

GLASS & GLAZING:
Window wall system shall be double glazed using 15.8mm (5/8”) airspace as a normal standard.
Windows will accommodate various combinations of glass thickness dependent on architectural and engineering requirements. (Subject to the constraint of sealed unit overall maximum thickness 22.2mm (7/8”).

Glass in both fixed lites and sashes are interior glazed with a full perimeter interior heel bead seal. Interior glazing stop to be rigid PVC or extruded Aluminum.

MAIN PERIMETER FRAME: (THERMALLY BROKEN)
Main frame is 4 5/8”. Horizontal sections to be mechanically joined to verticals, and profile sealed with high quality silicon sealant with an additional small joint seal backup. Mullions shall be of hollow construction or split to suit window configurations (for strength and reinforcing as required).

CASEMENT AND AWNING WINDOW VENT:
The sash shall be double weather-stripped utilizing a 360 degree black finger seal of santoprene rubber, closing against the exterior face of the window. Sashes will have one or two cam type handles locking positively against keepers.

HARDWARE:
The stainless steel hinges are completely concealed when sash is in closed position. All screws shall be stainless steel with sash utilizing stainless steel hinges.

FINISH:
Standard colors are as per AWD color chart; White or Rideau Brown. Optional architectural colors or anodized finish available.

THERMAL BREAK:
A high density PVC thermal break offering thermal resistance and excellent structural qualities.
